He sang the song very well but he did sound a bit "throaty" I thought. He was a bit shaky (I mean he was holding the microphone in his hand and his hand was shaking - but not too much). But as it was so cold, he might have been shaking because of that.
I think it was another 2 weeks after that, that he was diagnosed with Parkinsons and he has said that he's cancelling all future tours.
He'll be very much missed.
He hopes to still make records, depending on his health.
