Yes it's a headache for Bates. You can pretty well say that the Swiss are 2-0 up to start with and I can see the logic of the writer of the article. Should the priority of a British win come first, or should Andy get his chance against the number one, that everyone wants to see? It will be intersting to see who plays who!
My personal opinion is that Andy should play Federer, as clay is Andy's favourite surface and Federer's least favourite...and the public get what they want...but then I'm just selfish!

Well as you know i am going to this tie so therefore was really looking forward to seeing Andy play Fed as we all know clay is Andys best surface and not Fed's.

You get Aces depending on how much you type within a post and a few other factors and you can donate your own Aces to someone else. (Oh and its not working right now, I'm just messing about with the configuration)

Back on topic, I think it's a real toughie for Jezza.
Much as I'd like to see Andy v Fed, and would feel for heavenly angel if she missed that pair up, until Andy's fitness is proven, I'd go with the "lamb to the slaughter" scenario. A win is more important that Andy's pride.
