French Open dbls R1: A Murray/D Evans vs S Baez/T Seyboth Wild

The question now is - will Andy play at Surbiton next week?  His name is still on the the list, but GS rules state that players can't play in other tournaments during a Slam if they've entered the main draw, unless they get permission from the GS Board to do so.  He won't have much time to transition to grass either.

At least, they had plenty of time to practise together on the Olympic courts.

They can't play together at the Olympics as one player has to be in the top ten on 10th June, so they'll need to find different partners - Andy possibly with Joe Salisbury like he did in Tokyo, and Dan with Neal Skupski.

While Challenger tournaments are notoriously slow in updating their websites, it does look as though Andy's next tournament will be at the BOSS Open in Stuttgart, which starts on 10th June.

Meanwhile he and Jamie will decide in the next few days whether to play doubles together at Wimbledon, as Jamie doesn't have a partner for that yet.

Andy also says he still intends to play in the Paris Olympics which start on 27th July.

OFFICIAL - Andy has pulled out of Surbiton citing a back problem, which he says he struggled a bit with in Paris.  Still hopes to play Stuttgart and Queens.
