The pic is of Andy practising on Saturday.
Both the ATP and WTA main draws are scheduled for 15:00 local time (23:00 GMT) today.
Amazon Prime will broadcast the ATP and WTA main draw events in the UK with coverage set to start at 19:00 daily.
Andy, who reached the 3rd round here in October 2021 before losing to Alexander Zverev, last year defeated Taro Daniel 1-6, 6-2, 6-4 in round 1, notching up 700 career wins in the process, then lost 6-7(9-11), 3-6 to Alexander Bublik in the next.

The draw is out
-
Andy, who is in the top quarter, plays the world No. 61, 23 y.o. Tomas Martin Etcheverry, who reached the finals of the Chile Open last week, in round 1. Should he progress, the No. 15 seed Pablo Carreno Busta in R2, with the prospect of the No. 24 seed Dan Evans in R3, and the No. 1 seed Carlos Alcaraz in R4.

Thanks Aileen, don't expect to much here as Indian Wells has never been a great stomping ground for Andy.

Yes, thanks Aileen. I agree ChrisMac. Even at the height of his career Indian Wells was always tough for Andy.

That is true, but we must be positive. A good start against Etcheverry would be great to maintain his attitude that he is in a better place to compete now. All he needs is belief.

It hasn't. In fact his best results there were in 2009 when he got to the final where he lost to Nadal, and the semis in 2015. The worst was 2011 when he lost to a qualifier in round 1.

A counter puncher like Andy always fights back.

On the one hand, it looks like a decent R1 for Andy. He will face a lower-ranked player, seemingly a good clay-courter. On the other hand, he is very much in form having reached a final last weekend.
