Leon is a great guy - he's done a brilliant job building the GB team and the best thing for Scottish Tennis would be to appoint him Scottish Coach.  To be honest don't know why they haven't done it before now.

The Herald have published a two part interview with Leon. All very interesting. A lot about Andy in the interview, particularly the second part. By Susan Egelstaff.

Very interesting indeed ATL because I've always had a great deal of respect and admiration for Leon, so thanks for posting.

If tennis doesn't take off in Scotland in the next 20 years, I'll eat my cat. What's behind it all?

Well there isn't an Academy in Scotland, for one thing, and neither I suspect is the money despite a former FM's pledges.  However Mr Lu at my local takeaway assures me that cat is very nice and tastes like chicken.
