Me too.  If the O2 loses the contract for the WTF, I might start going to the Golden Oldies instead.
If the ATP continue to make Paris and the WTF back-to back tourneys from 2014 then I can see London keeping the WTF.  However I notice Andy is already complaining about this scheduling, and I imagine other players will be too, so the ATP may be forced to do something about, although too late now for next year.

Goodness, I could just about be his mother!  old  Very Happy

Wonder what Lendl will be doing now Andy's pulled out of Basel?  Or was this part of their Great Plan?  Sorry if I sound cynical but Andy's continuing silence is starting to raise questions in my mind, although I agree 100% with the decision to withdraw.

oh wow - lol. How old do you have to be in order to be his mother?

Put it this way, his mother could have been as young as 16 when he was born ...

aha! 68 then. Not bad. I honestly thought you'd be somewhere around that age. You brain works really fine and that's the most important part. Einstein once said, "of all things I've lost, I miss my brain the most." I believe he was in his early 70s when he said that.

The truth will out (not that I care, age is merely a number).  I'll be 70 at the end of this month - and my brain may still be sharp but my memory often lets me down ... Whistle However my hair is still it's natural dark honey-blond colour, albeit with a tiny hint of white, so that's another plus!

Aileen, your post made me smile. I'm 39, my memory is a nightmare and a lot of my hair colour comes out of a bottle lol.

Well I did say my memory's wonky - and I've just noticed that I got my birthday wrong ... it's the end of next month!  I was thinking it was already November. doh  Mind you, with the awful weather, fireworks going off and TV announcers already wearing remembrance poppies, perhaps that isn't so surprising.

His name is Mansour Bahrami. Very funny and entertaining player. Here's a clip.

Physically it certainly isn't.

I couldn't agree more. If you are fit and well age is nothing. If you're not in good health any age is difficult.

I've seen Bahrami live. He's brilliant and a real sweetheart. Leconte is funny live too.

That's because physical reality doesn't exist as it's only an illusion and a persistent one as Einstein would tell you. But anyway, I was basically coming from something much deeper but yeah, in this persistent reality, it does make you feel that way, as if this is all there’s to it and that if your physical body gets old, you get old too (though some would insist that they never feel old no matter how old they are physically and they'd be right too. Wait until you get old..lolol). You die, your whole self dies too etc.

Anyway, back to Lendl again.
