Seem to remember him doing this more than Amelie did, though frequently he would give them dry non-answers! My memory could be flawed on this though.

My memory is similar to yours, spoke to the press more frequently than Amelie, but less than Jonas Bjorkman did for example.
I think Amelie and Ivan were quite similar in the way they answered British press questions - basicallh gave them something, but usually something non-specific. As you say a 'non-answer' that basically gave them a soundbite to print.
